---COBRA REVIVAL---

Welcome to COBRA REVIVAL, My GI-Joe Kitbash site, where I shall host my own custom figures. Most of them are on Joe Customs, but not all, so here you will find a few unique works, more notes and more importantly, the COBRA REVIVAL backstory.

But why Cobra? What's their revival?
This is set in my fictional Joeniverse, where Cobra has been defeated, but they once again rise from the ashes. What I wanted to do was give my own representations of well known COBRA characters, offer some new characters, and just have fun. I am a huge COBRA fan, and have been since I was little. I am however more interested with the CRIMSON GUARD, and so eventually you will find a page dedicated to my Army Building.
What I do with my customs, is something I have been praised for. Taking bits from badly proportioned figures (such as the 2003 JvC figures) and combining them to make figures which work. The JvC line has had some jewels, but bad figures such as Beach head are always going to be associated with that line, however Beach head has some of the best ankles I have seen in any Gi-Joe figure. This is what I do. Take the redeeming factors from figures, and combine them with other high-points to create an original vision.
